Hello, Sarcasto-philes.
Just a quick note to let you know two things:
1. The last two Hitchcock Flick reviews will post tomorrow...
2. ... and NORTH BY NORTHWEST will be replaced by THE BIRDS.
The reason for the swap is two-fold:
1. I wanted to have a good cross-section of Hitchcock flicks. We had a voyeurism thriller with REAR WINDOW, a missing-person thriller with THE LADY VANISHES, a cat burglar thriller with TO CATCH A THIEF, a man-on-the-run thriller with THE THIRTY-NINE STEPS, an espionage thriller with NOTORIOUS, and pseudo-supernatural thriller with VERTIGO. And since NORTH BY NORTHWEST is another man-on-the-run thriller and is too similar to THE THIRTY-NINE STEPS, I thought we'd pick another Hitchcock film: THE BIRDS - which is a nature-gone-amok thriller.
2. My "DVD Pimp" turned out to only have a Blue-Ray for NORTH BY NORTHWEST. And I have yet to convert to Blue-Ray. I like to live simply, folks.
Anyhow, blogging reviews had to take a back seat to actual living, so I won't get around to posting the reviews to NOTORIOUS and THE BIRDS until tomorrow evening. After all, movies are awesome - but nothing beats real life and cheap drinks with friends.
